Vilajuiga is a race for the brave, it is one of the toughest races at Catalan calendar, the circuit is almost 5 minutes long (4 minutes for some as Bernat Guardia) runs through a nature trail full of old stones and trials. The circuit is demanding and does not allow any fault, as the minimum error may fall above  some of the many stones.
There were plenty of falls in both training and racing. As the spectacular crash that brooke in two pieces the helmet of a rider without serious consequences for him.
